Brian has been painting for well over 25 years.
He started with oils, then went on to meet the demanding challenge of watercolours until finally finding his true love, pastels. From that time he has gone from strength to strength.
His work is very emotive and charged with pure atmosphere. 
He has taken intensive courses with Barry Watkin, Ray Balkwill and attended West Dean College. 
The subjects he enjoys painting most include seascapes, landscapes, still life, coastal scenes, life drawing etc. 
Over the last two years he has successfully taken 'A' level in Art and Design. He maintains you never stop learning in Art. 
His paintings are in many parts of the world. 
He exhibits in the west country where he lives, and also in America.
